Deep in the heart of Lavender Beds you find this hidden gem, a darkened bar and comfortable lounge. You've heard rumors of vampires, of voidsent, of fae and succubi and twitching statues, but those are just superstition right? The bartender watches you curiously as you enter, shushing a conversation into silence as she makes a small smile and wave of her hand toward you. You feel eyes on you with silent judgement as you approach and ask for the most popular drink. The fae behind the counter sizes you up, looking for any glow of your eye, any glint of sharp teeth, any hint of aetherical anomaly. "Why, that would depend where your.. tastes lie," she says teasingly before her smile fades and her eyes trail up, up, up to someone or something far larger just behind you.*** **Players MUST BE 21+, no exception. While adult and mature themes are welcome, we ask that any explicit sexual content exceeding a PG-13 standard or extreme violence be conducted in private tells. No matter the interaction, if a player does not consent.. stop.

About our venue
Our guests must be 21+. No exceptions. This is an LGBT+ and kink friendly space.During scheduled hours on Saturday night, consider us a hotspot for immersive rp of the supernatural kind. Our lore is based around Brigid and Pelzie's meeting and the space they created after (ask in character XD). Voidsent, vampires, fae, succubi, it seems all are welcome here. Mortals even, though you might find yourself under the gaze of hungry eyes. Fret not, no permanent harm may befall you here! (House lore: you can take damage, you will recover quickly; you might be able to die, you will live again shortly as long as you do not leave the house!)Now we are not a pretentious lot. If you're new and want to learn, if you're experienced and want a thrilling experience, all are welcome to throw in their hat! Antagonist characters are just fine, please be aware you may find consequences in character. (If asked to chill OOC, please respect this.) You can schedule a time with Pelzie outside of open hours to work on your character, find inspiration, and explore rp possibilities. I hope you won't feel intimidated, if you interact I will do my best to interact back (and if I miss it in chat, message me so I know to scroll up so I can please). What I will ask is that you respect our house lore and do not god mod, and if you're very new to role play I do not mind explaining ok? Our Lore
Brigid is a crafty woman that learned she had unconventional heritage, escaping from a group bent on using her. She rescued a frightened miqote left to the whims of Black Spiral Dancers, and together they embarked on a new beginning. As Brigid assembled the Necrologos page by page, she began to tamper with summoning voidsent. She is aware of the fate that awaits those who bend these beings to their will, and the risks associated, but in the end egotistically believes she will outsmart it unlike previous civilizations that have found their demise to welcoming voidsent into the world. The statues in the venue are those that have limited mobility, trapped for their insolence and refusal to bend to her will. They move occasionally but will only step down when the patrons of the house are in danger. It is not uncommon to hear something coming from backrooms akin to scratching, knocking, or screaming. She welcomes all into her home for a good drink and good company, but only the most attuned will notice their aether being stolen in small portion as they enter. Only the most powerful will note they are not at full strength here. Brigid seems to have been missing for some time however, has the void finally taken it's due?
Pelzie meanwhile, between tending the bar and aiding Alaina in keeping the house tidy, has come to understand part of why a voice lured her into the den of Black Spirals so long ago. Learning about her fae heritage as a changeling has shaken her world and driven her to some dangerous places to find her path. She finds herself at New Beginnings trying to find her place in the world at the opposite side of the spectrum from Brigid, far more akin to prey rather than predator. But not innocent. Enough guests have accused her of ill intent as a fae that she's begun to embrace it, offering little deals and trinkets if one is foolish enough to accept. Care is advised in giving this one your name, even if she seems harmless, and to remember that she does expect something in return for favors. You might speak to this one about a number of story ideas. She trades for memories and very much likes to keep mortals close to use their glamour (dreams, creative energy, ect) for her own devices.

Delight in the basics with this one, comprised of gin, lime juice, simple syrup, shaken with ice and a touched with an ounce of blood (type depends on the night's stock). Garnished with rose petals.Last Drop
Gin, fruity white wine, creme de le violette, and celery bitters are shaken with ice and poured into a champagne glass. A hibiscus flower is soaked in voidsent blood briefly and placed in the middle of this clear drink, bleeding out slowly from the center.

Your palate will thank you for a taste of this treat. Though the wine itself is fermented with cherries, the donor also ate nothing but these sweet red fruits for months before their contribution. Finishing with a tart aftertaste, this wine is not overly sweet. The donor was however very much so.Kosta Cabernet
With a velvety texture that soothes, this rich and indulgent blood wine is easy to love with it's charming black fruits, baking spices, and cassis notes blended with some poor unfortunate soul from the wrong place at the right time.

A curious premixed concoction, cooled in the small ice box, is stirred with the house aether. It seems to be red wine based and you note sweetness and spice like star anise, cinnamon, and cloves. You also note hints of a very strong triple sec.Hopeless Fervor
This is pure, undiluted aether. Can be substituted in small amounts in any drink or served by the glass. It swirls in your glass, making you wonder if it's truly a liquid or something enchanted to resemble it.

Our Free Company
We formed to be a free company centered around BDSM and kink education, thus the tag <RACK>. We will always be an LGBT+ and kink friendly space and want to be a place where someone can ask questions without judgement. It tends to affect our humor and our discussions sometimes, for these reasons we will not recruit under 21.That said, you don't have to be kinky to join us. We will ask you not to kink shame and for our kinky companions, be considerate of others. We've built a small discord community built around being social and our venue. If you join discord please be aware we use soundboards occasionally, most of which are volume adjusted, and the feature can be disabled on your side if you choose to.We're also roleplayers, though again you do not have to be. We do have a venue that revolves around supernatural interests and loosely based in World of Darkness lore. New Beginnings is a safe haven, a bar, a home to different supernatural types. The more commanding of the two partners keeps her ploys to herself, biding her time as she welcomes guests and takes a chosen few to her heel. The other seems to be building a fae cult court, calling herself a queen and sewing chaos where she might. Just some lore hooks if you're looking for ideas to slip in your role play.Our walls are warded to prevent permanent harm. You could have a fight and never fall or take serious damage. Bite your victim and watch them heal soon after. Poison your enemy and watch them walk away unscathed.Fae Queen Pelzie is still learning about her kind, knowing she's had previous lives but unable to recall any of it and having had few to guide her in this world. One might help her or bring her to her knees.Need a spell?
