Deep in the heart of Lavender Beds you find this hidden gem, a darkened bar and comfortable lounge. You've heard rumors of vampires, of voidsent, of fae and succubi and twitching statues, but those are just superstition right? The bartender watches you curiously as you enter, shushing a conversation into silence as she makes a small smile and wave of her hand toward you. You feel eyes on you with silent judgement as you approach and ask for the most popular drink. The fae behind the counter sizes you up, looking for any glow of your eye, any glint of sharp teeth, any hint of aetherical anomaly. "Why, that would depend where your.. tastes lie," she says teasingly before her smile fades and her eyes trail up, up, up to someone or something far larger just behind you.*** Players MUST BE 21+, no exception. During hours, we are a supernatural immersive place of role play with themes involving alcohol, violence, and possibly death. It is worth noting, the establishment is warded (inside only) to prevent permanent harm. Death is not permanent, injuries will heal rapidly. ***

About our venue

Our guests must be 21+. No exceptions. This is an LGBT+ space.During scheduled hours on Saturday night, consider us a hotspot for immersive rp of the supernatural kind. Our lore is based around Brigid and Pelzie's meeting and the space they created after (ask in character XD). Voidsent, vampires, fae, succubi, it seems all are welcome here. Mortals even, though you might find yourself under the gaze of hungry eyes. Fret not, no permanent harm may befall you here! (House lore: you can take damage, you will recover quickly; you might be able to die, you will live again shortly as long as you do not leave the house!)Now we are not a pretentious lot. If you're new and want to learn, if you're experienced and want a thrilling experience, all are welcome to throw in their hat! Antagonist characters are just fine, please be aware you may find consequences in character. (If asked to chill OOC, please respect this.) You can schedule a time with Pelzie outside of open hours to work on your character, find inspiration, and explore rp possibilities. I hope you won't feel intimidated, if you interact I will do my best to interact back (and if I miss it in chat, message me so I know to scroll up so I can please). What I will ask is that you respect our house lore and do not god mod, and if you're very new to role play I do not mind explaining ok? We do this for fun, I hope you'll join us for a lovely night.Outside of hours marked immersive role play, please be aware our flavor changes a bit. We are a people that enjoy the spicier side of life (read: bdsm enthusiasts, not lewd horn dogs). Some chat may become more casual, out of character, and less immersive. Our role players are welcome to continue anything they had going during marked hours, just be aware the wifi and chat could potentially be nsfw.

Our Lore

Brigid is a crafty woman that learned she had unconventional heritage, escaping from a group bent on using her. She rescued a frightened miqote left to the whims of Black Spiral Dancers, and together they embarked on a new beginning. As Brigid assembled the Necrologos page by page, she began to tamper with summoning voidsent. She is aware of the fate that awaits those who bend these beings to their will, and the risks associated, but in the end egotistically believes she will outsmart it unlike previous civilizations that have found their demise to welcoming voidsent into the world. The statues in the venue are those that have limited mobility, trapped for their insolence and refusal to bend to her will. They move occasionally, but never off their pedestal. It is not uncommon to hear something coming from backrooms akin to scratching, knocking, or screaming. She welcomes all into her home for a good drink and good company, but only the most attuned will notice their aether being stolen in small portion as they enter. Only the most powerful will note they are not at full strength here. (House rules, Brigid has the biggest stick inside the house.) Being skilled in warding, in taming the void's creatures, Brigid is a force to be reckoned with, one as threatening as the things that go bump in the night. You might speak to her about a story line where your voidsent makes a deal with her, for instance completing tasks and missions to earn their death and release into the aetherial river. Unfortunate for you, you'll never quite get there. She does like to take her time with new.. pets.
Pelzie meanwhile, between tending the bar and aiding Alaina in keeping the house tidy, has come to understand part of why a voice lured her into the den of Black Spirals so long ago. Learning about her fae heritage as a changeling has shaken her world and driven her to some dangerous places to find her path. She finds herself at New Beginnings trying to find her place in the world at the opposite side of the spectrum from Brigid, far more akin to prey rather than predator. But not innocent. Enough guests have accused her of ill intent as a fae that she's begun to embrace it, offering little deals and trinkets if one is foolish enough to accept. Care is advised in giving this one your name, even if she seems harmless, and to remember that nothing comes without a price. You might speak to this one about a number of story ideas. Would you like to become her human pet? Corrupt her just that little bit more or bring her back from the edge of the abyss? Perhaps you'd like to see her grow to her potential, to one day become unseelie queen, or are you one that revels in keeping a fae trapped in your grasp?

Our Free Company

We originally formed to be a free company centered around BDSM and BDSM education, thus the tag <RACK>, having enjoyed sitting down in groups for discussions and light role play. We strive to promote healthy connection between people with a focus on negotiation and consent, face to face or in FFXIV role play. Play safe, avoid drama. It is not our main focus these days, but it is part of our community culture.That said, you don't have to be kinky to join us. We will ask you not to kink shame, we do still have discussions. We've built a small discord community built around being social and our venue. If you join discord please be aware we use soundboards, most of which are volume adjusted, and the feature can be disabled on your side if you choose to.We're also roleplayers, though again you do not have to be to join us. We do ask that you not expect a magical pool of people to erp with by joining, you still need to ask for consent from any party you're interested in!We're chill, we do our best to avoid drama, and we have free company houses on both Halicarnasus and Exodus. Being aware that moving may be difficult for people with networks of friends or houses tied to their main, you're always welcome to come be a friend of the fc if you're unable to join.

She knows nothing of other fae. You can sit there spinning wild stories and she'll listen with awe. It wouldn't be hard to get her in trouble in this way. She is unaware that iron will burn her, she's never held it herself being a scholar. She's had a very bad experience with Black Fury garou, if you take a wolf like appearance it will take time to get comfy around you.If you spy Katerina, those that catch her eye may be whisked away to a dark booth. Though not kindred or voidsent in the least, she has been known to devour willing guests. She also supplies bodies and vitae to the operation through her own mafia like influences in Kugane.
