Deep in the flowery heart of Lavender Beds you find the object of rumor, a dark little bar of eclectic tastes at first glance. The barkeep asks for your name and smiles a little too excitedly when you give it to her, providing you a menu as she glances off behind you toward a particular gargoyle. Was it standing like that when you entered? You're sure nothing is afoul, the rumors must be false. You don't see any voidsent or fae or vampires. A chill runs down your spine though, there do seem to be hungry gazes here.. Nothing to be concerned with, you're sure. Mostly.

*The building is unremarkable from the outside and the inside cloaks you protectively by its dark but inviting atmosphere. You may feel something, the warding woven expertly into the walls drawing a small amount of your strength in exchange for protection from permanent harm. A naive, cheerful miqo waves to you from the bar before her attention is drawn by a customer requesting more blood wine. Just a name, right? It's just a bar after all. You notice eyes on you, both from the lady of the house sizing you up and from the booths where curious patrons gaze. Their conversation about the state of affairs pauses, my you're popular tonight. Just your imagination that their eyes seem rather hungry. Must be nerves as a shiver strikes down your spine.It's just a bar. It's just a bar. It's just.....

With a focus on immersive role play, we do ask that OOC chat is kept separate. There is no need for ICly or OOCly, using (bubbles) is enough to differentiate you mean OOC. Try not to dominate the chat log with OOC conversation however, kindly.Our venue is not snobbish about role play and even those new to the role play scene are completely welcome here. It is however a place for darker themed role play. While anything graphic or spicy should be kept to private rooms or party chat, it would not be out of place for violence, mild blood play, and shady dealings in plain view. We cater to a variety of creatures and races, mortal and voidsent, from vampires to succubi to fae, predator and prey.We cater heavily to vampiric and voidsent clients, but all are welcome in our halls. The warding inside is dark but assures no one can befall permanent harm. It also assures that Madam Brigid will always be more powerful than you in her lair here. You are welcome to bring an antagonistic character, but realize actions IC have consequences. If you are asked to chill OOC, please do or you will be removed. If you'd like to engage in spicy, cnc, or violent behavior please make sure it's okay with the other player.If you like our vibe, ask about our discord. We encourage story threads, rp chat, and gposes of your characters. If you'd like to help out around the venue, you're welcome to rp any position you like as long as you remember this is volunteer only. Our beginnings..

We formed as a group built around BDSM education and playing safe both locally and in role play. While we're focused more on gaming here, think of us like a munch; people that want to get to know you and your other interests. We're not an ERP free company, we are however role players and we have a venue built around our darker story lines. We welcome people that want to come discuss, come rp, and come do content with us as we venture into the expansion. New and returning players are absolutely welcomed, we can help. We only hope you'll pay it forward <3 Sometimes we'll also play other games together. You don't have to be into everything, you'll always be welcome to come engage with us.

As stated before, we're home to several kinky people and it reflects in our humor, our memes, our expectations, and our views on consent. This a safe place to ask questions or learn how to become a better dominant or submissive, what we are not is a lewd ERP focused group. This group just happens to like role play! Our venue started as a collaboration between Brigid and Pelzie, a lair where the Dark Lady operates both a sort of elysium (safe, neutral place) for all manner of voidsent and creatures. Only the most powerful will notice that the warding in the walls, which provides accelerated restoration and prevents permanent harm, also draws slightly from it's guests a bit of aether. Those voidsent of exceptional power or influence may find themselves in the eye of the Dark Lady herself as she propositions them by any means necessary into her service. Others may never know about this, enjoying their drink as they tell their secrets to the bar tender.Information about our characters coming soon!Come collaborate in our stories where none of us are the main character and we craft together progression for each of our characters. Alternatively, come rp at the venue with us on Saturdays. Have a drink and have a good time with friends (or your favorite bite) or come share your story with the bartender on duty! Maybe you'll even learn some of theirs. Sometimes we have slow nights and we're just fine with that, we'll role play together. We don't run it for profit or popularity, it's just for the role play, and your participation there is appreciated but never mandatory. New Beginnings is a casual free company. Roulettes, trials, dungeons, alliance raids, and content like deep dungeons or variant dungeons; what not limited to, you might expect to run those here. We can help you progress through MSQ with run-throughs or helping you unlock things, assist with getting you up to date on crafting and gathering, and do general events with you too! There are many friendly free companies, many which invite you so your activity fuels their fc points and many in which you can remain faceless. We have no interest in mass inviting nor do we want those who wish to remain faceless. Our goal is to make friends, to create community, and rather than be a cult of personality we welcome those who will also help others, do content with them, and help that community flourish.We also have other games and activities, if you're curious you can check what we're up to here. These aren't to bribe you into participation or win your love, we're just nerds and you're welcome to come nerd with us. Some get scheduled, others are at a whim.

We realize many people that came to Dynamis to escape ghosts from their past. Sometimes the FFXIV community can be vicious. We do not expel people based on hearsay. If you have a problem with one of our members or a fellow member of the community, you can either ignore them or you can bring unedited receipts.

A lot of free companies are friendly, welcoming, some of them even do weekly events and bribe you into playing there. In many, you can be as faceless as you like and your actions during the week fund someone else's gil coffer. We're really not about that life.We're small, we're cozy, we like it that way.
This isn't a place to park an alt you never intend to play.
We play other games, we run roulettes and casual things, we role play. You don't have to do everything.
On the note of role play, attendance at the venue is NEVER required. We don't hire staff, if you want to help that's cool. If you want to join our story, that's cool. It's for fun, not profit.
We want to make new friends. Meet more of our kind of nerds. If you'd like to be faceless, this may not be the fc for you.
We are casual right now. Got a few omnicrafters, do roulettes, older content, newer content. Generally we don't do statics for raids, but that could change if interest builds with recruiting.

Something we realize is that not everyone can join us that wants to. They have other free companies, friends, even houses. Our brand of role play has darker themes, being that our venue is based around the idea of a neutral ground that attracts all manner of creatures; the most powerful of which may be subjugated or consumed. Voidsent are predatory creatures, often consumed with finding power and aether for themselves. There may, at times, be violence or adult themes. If it's a major plot point, or may be triggering, please do ask for consent first! Not everyone is okay with everything. Some characters may be okay with kidnap and torture, others may want more light hearted rp as they explore the Source.We do tend to role play on Saturday nights at our venue. Our lore is that you cannot be permanently harmed within our walls. It's also that all manner of creature are voidsent or sin eaters. We mix our lore from FFXIV with World of Darkness, explaining for example that vampires are voidsent or those that made a deal with voidsent. But they aren't the only ones! A vampire might draw aether from blood, but a fae also feeds off aether in the form of creativity. Others draw their aether from food just like the uncorrupted, or favor drinks made of concentrated aether.If you'd like help fitting your character into our lore and exploring your own, check out our hooks section or talk with us. <3 You can also participate in threads in the discord, writing your past story by yourself or current story with others to show your character's journey!

We are not rp snobs. We're okay with new role players as well. Out of character chat (OOC) belongs in brackets to show it is not in character (IC), that's about all we ask.

HooksIt's said that there are powerful, forbidden runes inside the walls. Some tell tales that they've had brawls and never fallen, died and walked away, been tortured and recovered within hours. You notice by the fc rooms that there seems to be a cabinet storing aether, rather mechanically and auracite in several rooms as well.Upon entry, you might notice you've been partially drained. Only those with high aetheric density will pick up on this.Occasionally you may hear something off putting. It's said that powerful voidsent sometimes go missing here, could that be who was making noise in the back room?The barkeep Pelzie seems quite interested in learning about fae, so much so that you might pull one over on her.Sometimes hunters will relax in our halls. While you may not harm others here, you may find yourself drinking next to your foes.The dark kiss, from the sweet pain of the skin breaking to the release of hot blood across one's tongue, can be quite.. addicting. If you catch Lidia, she might scratch that itch for you.
Alternatively, if you'd like a bite of fae you might see Pelzie.The authorities were a problem at one time. The grand company was looking for a pink tipped miqo that disappeared after investigating missing persons, the guards were checking shipments looking for contraband and specifically for pages of forbidden texts. They no longer pose a threat, not after the disappearances. Not after the pay offs. Sometimes they're brazen enough to come for their payoffs during open hours.You heard there's a drinking contest NB offers! All you have to do is survive drink 5 shots, easy right?There are whispers. If you need a dark artifact, the bartender could probably tell you the best place to look. A library with.. unique additions. Not for the faint of heart, and certainly this information will come at great cost.Rumor has it there's a death cult here. Do they truly worship the four fiends?They say never give a fae your name.Browsing the bulletin board, you notice quests available. Have you come prepared to reap the rewards or just to look at what's available? Oh, oh! Do you have a request to post?
